This is an economic theory which states that in many cases approximately 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. For example, 20% of the people could own 80% of the wealth. In the series Adolescence, it is distorted to explain a misconception that only a small proportion of men (20%) manage to attract the attention of women, while the rest are excluded.
