In Turkish ‘Millî İstihbarat Teşkilatı’, is the main intelligence agency of the Turkish government tasked with gathering information of national interest for both the presidency and the armed forces. Objective: to prevent and thwart actual and potential threats from within and outside the territory of the Republic of Turkey, acting against all elements that pose a threat to the integrity, constitutional order, existence, independence, security and national power of Turkey.
