Is an organisational, social or cultural approach that opposes and seeks to overcome patriarchy, i.e. the system of power and domination in which men exercise disproportionate control over women, both individually and institutionally. Anti-patriarchal models are characterised by gender equality, overcoming stereotypes, inclusivity and intersectionality, empowerment and critique of all forms of violence.
