Zones in which the most polluting vehicles are restricted from entering and circulating. All existing LEZs in Europe are dedicated to heavy goods vehicles and heavy passenger vehicles, while some also include light goods vehicles, light passenger vehicles and motorbikes. Most of the current LEZs operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with the exception of the Italian ones (which only operate part of the day and during the winter period). <\/p>\n\n
